Honeymoon Part One

New York

We flew into NY with Virgin Atlantic.  My sister worked for them up until a few months ago and she had arranged for the crew to bring us champagne as a surprise (we later found out she tried so hard to get us upgraded but the flight was full), the guy who we were chatting with on our row even got some.  A film, a couple of TV shows and some meditainment.com later and we were there, yey!

View from our Brooklyn Hotel
Prospect Park
We stumbled upon the very creative Dekalb Market
Yummy Croque Monsieur and people watching at Station
a Williamsburg wander
Barcade
Beers and more people watching on Bedford Avenue
day one nearly over

coffee break in Bryant Park
rest stop in Washington Square Park
Delicious pulled pork sandwiches at Saigon Shack in the Village.  Also tried Vietnamese coffee for the first time, it's the best thing ever.

We had both been to NY (separately) before so we had already done the touristy stuff.  This trip was just about taking in the atmosphere and finding good places to eat, drink and hang out.  We were there two days, next stop Austin, Texas...
